This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This is my second year and I'm so excited to continue this family legacy that my big brother Lynk started 7 years ago! Last year I raised almost $1,000 for this amazing cause and learned so much about determination, grit, hard work, and pushing and fighting! There were days it was hard to keep riding and my slogan was "If Gia can, I can!" Gia is the sweet girl I'm riding on behalf of...watching her journey has made me realize that no kid should have to live that life and I want to keep riding to help find a cure!

Why ride? Why GCC? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. It's just not fair!

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
