I'm Riding For
I’m very fortunate to not have anyone suffering with cancer in my life right now
I have, however, lost people I’ve known to cancer. Some have been friends, while others were clients. The worst were 4 of my elder family members, including 3 of my grandparents. Cancer doesn’t discriminate. I choose to participate in this manner with the hope that the little bit I’m able to contribute will help. Thank you again for supporting my goal!
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! If you’d like to participate with me, the challenge starts tomorrow and runs through the month of September. Join my team and let’s motivate each other!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
I’m raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund, to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Yesssss!!!
28 Sep 2024I finished my pledged amount of miles! Woohoo! I’m feeling stronger and more energetic than when I started, which is a good thing as I’m about to embark on a journey with Katrina as we travel to her next life’s adventure this weekend-Chicago! She and I are transporting her belongings to her new place, so I knew I needed to stay strong and finish early as I won’t be able to ride again until October, when this ride is over. Mission accomplished!
Thank you sooo much to everyone who supported my ride and this campaign for kid’s cancer. It means so much to me. ♥️
I far exceeded my original goal of $750.00 and am hoping to gather that last $45 in order to donate a total of $1,500.00!

9 Sep 2024Finding the time for this challenge is, in fact, challenging!! Working full time, helping with my grand daughter and just living life gets in the way! But I believe in this cause and thank anyone who is following my progress and cheering me on to achieve my goals. You are appreciated more than you realize!
