I'm Riding For

Jordan Rudloff & Peyton Gonzales

Jordan: In the summer of 2005, at 8 years old, an inoperable brain tumor was found and while he fought hard for about a year and a half, he passed away the Tuesday before Thanksgiving in 2006. Having my own 3 boys, I can't help but think of all the things I'm experiencing with them that Jordan didn't. Jordan's last summer he never got to go swimming, play sports or even go to school that much for the risk of infection was too great. I think of him often and try to really experience life with my boys. Peyton: In October 2018, everything changed for my cousin and her 8 year old only child, Peyton. She was experiencing some unusual things for someone her age and found that it was due to a tumor on her adrenal gland. She had many surgeries and rounds of chemo for Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma. She was a beautiful girl, inside and out, fighting a difficult battle that took her from us July 22, 2023.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
