I'm Riding For

Branden Winters and Suzanne Kidwell

My best friend, Branden Winters fought a long hard battle with cancer, and passed away a few years ago. He was a real warrior who didn’t go down without a fight. I continue to ride in memory of him, and know that he would want every child to have a fighting chance to beat cancer. I am also riding this year for a good friend who was like a mother to me, Suzanne Kidwell. She has given so much to so many kids with her amazing kindness, knowledge, wisdom and strong spirit. She is currently battling brain cancer, and I wanted to nominate riding for her this year. She is an incredible woman, and deserves so much! I pray everyday that God will continue giving her the strength and courage to beat cancer, and live a long and happy life with her family.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
