My Story

I don't often participate in fundraisers but being a cancer survivor has changed my outlook on things, especially when it comes to children! I started riding again and through this challenge I hope to use riding not only as a health benefit for me but hopefully save a childs life. I will be riding during the of September and you can follow my progress on this page. Thank you for your support & prayers for these kids!

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

This is my second year riding in the Great Bycle Challenge for childhood cancer research. I increased both my dollar goal and miles goal from last year. My goal this year is $3,000 and 300 miles. The challenge takes place in September but you can give to the challenge now. Last year I increased my goal and miles twice during the month and would love to do so again this year. Please consider joining my effort to help children with cancer!
