I'm Riding For

Tony Nugteren

This is my brother Tony and his wife Linda. Tony is the reason I'm riding the Great Bicycle Challenge. Tony recently passed away from melanoma in December of 2021. He was a great brother: kind, humble and selfless, and completely dedicated to his family. He fought this disease with incredible grace, and his selfless courage was - and continues to be - a huge inspiration to me. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

My Story

This is my 7th year participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to join the fight against cancer. The first time, in 2020, i joined in support of my brother Tony, who was diagnosed with skin cancer. In 2021 he passed away and now I ride in his memory.

The rules of the GCC are simple: in one month, bicycle as many miles as possible, as raise as much money as possible for the cause.

My goal is to cycle at least 500 miles and raise at least $500.
