My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

My cousin had to not only care for her sick daughter, but she also had to continue working since her husband suddenly died. I can only imagine how difficult it was for their family. So, Kennedy is doing fine now, but I feel no child should have to go through cancer. I know you are going through cancer treatment now and from the posts I see on Facebook you are handling it like a champion. I know you and Mickey do a lot to help people with cancer, this is just my small part to help. I've been riding for 9 years and every year I say it will be my last but, people like you keep me going. I hope you continue to do well with your battle. Patti”
