My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

    My first ride was awesome today, haven’t ridden in about 10 months since my wife and I ride. Well it felt good right out of the box to ride 5.3 miles. I was pretty impressed with my self, yeah I’m not shy. BUT the most important accomplishment of the first ride is I ride it with my wife which to me is the real story. My wife is truly my inspiration, Lisa is who got me involved with this great cause to begin with but she is the real HERO , she ride 3.5 miles on it first ride, to most that’s maybe not such a big deal but for her she just had pretty intensive left knee surgery and refused to miss opening day ride for the cause. You see the reason she is my hero is because Lisa is a cancer survivor and I’m blessed everyday I have with her. Lisa hates to see anyone go thru this horrible disease but especially children. Great job Mi Lisita, SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!
