My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.

Ride 8
15 Sep 2024Habits change people. What habits can we do today to make a difference for the relationships around us, our planet, & most important our health? Everyday is a new day. I love morning rides because it feels like a fresh new beginning to a blank slate to get up and paint the day however we want. Choices are in our power no matter what we may be going through. Choose prayer when you wake up, choose gratitude mindset, choose to use the resources you do have today and if it was all taken away would you still be able to paint that picture of your day however you wish it to be for your mental health & physical well being? Good Morning 🙏 it's a great day for The Great Bike Challenge

Ride 5
11 Sep 2024The pursuit to serve a purpose greater than myself than to stay fit. I still have battlefields in my mind making it hard to prioritize this service over my extra 30 min of sleep in the morning. The days are getter cooler at night in in the morning. I get this ride in tonight facing fears that still happen even after knowing it's better to prepare for night rides with bike lights. When I did this challenge last year I was using my bike lights. This year they are packed away somewhere since I had moved this year to another state. Thankfully the city invested in bike lanes on the side of the busy roads. One more day down. Now to post my progress to friends on social media and text.
