William "Bill" Feist

William "Bill or Wild Bill" Feist is fighting throat cancer with great courage and the help and love from his beautiful wife, Diane, and many prayer warriors. Bill became a good friend when I moved to Florida and was lucky to be across-the-street neighbor. Bill and Diane are seasonal residents and spend half of their time in their home state of Minnesota. Bill is quite the dragracer - racing from northern to southern United States in his 4-speed, 428 Cobra Jet,1969 Mustang, Bill has been racing for almost 50 years in the same street modified mustang. Through faith, having a fighting spirit, and lots of prayer warriors alongside him, we are praying he will soon be shifting gears going down the track of life. God bless him and Diane!

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So, I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. Let's see what this almost 77-year-old guy can pull off this year - especially with your wonderful, generous support.

I've had some health challenges this past few months, but the good Lord willing, I plan in putting in some bicycle rides for the cause.
