I'm riding on team #Joestrong in memory of the little fella pictured. Joe lost his battle with cancer on November 26 2019. I was a little humbled when I was asked to ride on team #Joestrong. I'm also proud and a little awed by my friends who have donated so far. In as much as I'm not much of a fund raiser, I exceeded my goal last year thanks to you all. You can donate as little as $5.00. That is a venti vanilla latte at Starbucks. Skip a coffee, save a kid.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

We're getting sooo close

I'm sitting at $1,161.00 which is $89.00 below my monetary goal.

Of course I have until the end of this month to raise that amount and feel confident you all will come through for the kids.

It would be nice for me to rest easy knowing I've reached that goal so I can get away from this keyboard and jump in the saddle to start putting some miles in the books.
