As a wee lass, I wanted to be a scientist to cure the world's ailments, like cancer or finding an alternative to our limited supply of fossil fuel. Totally naive. But, I do believe the solutions to these problems will be discovered. Elimination of cancer will be made possible by the dogged perseverance and ingenuity in scientific research. This month, I am cycling for awareness of and to raise money for cancer research. -SCT
