In early 2025 we lost my wonderful mother-in-law to Cancer. It was so hard and the only way I can imagine it being harder would be to lose a child.
My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

“My mom passed away from cancer in April 2024, she was 84. My mom battled cancer for 8 years and was a fighter, never giving up hope. She fought to see each of her grandchildren graduate from their respective schools which she achieved! I miss mom dearly and I know Jesus is taking special care of her in heaven, as she took lovingly care of so many family and friends on earth while she was alive.
