Like every year, this September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This will be my 9th year. This is a wonderful cause that works to support research to help prevent childhood cancer.

Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from diseases in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I have had my own journey with cancer as an adult and I cannot imagine the strain that is put on a family dealing with a small child with cancer. I made it through my journey and I want to help others make it through theirs.

This year I am riding 1500 miles in the month of September and my personal goal is to raise $7500 with a team goal of $10,000.

Every year I set goals I am not sure I can meet. So far each year I have exceeded my donations miles and goal. I have set some BHAG Rides and I am excited to try to tackle some new challenges. Regardless the miles or challenges, donations are what is most important. Please help me with this goal.
