I'm Riding For
Sister Alice, Co Helene, Su Ong
For Sister Alice, Cô Helene, and Su Ong — your compassion and courage live in every mile I ride. You taught me that love is action, and kindness is strength. This journey is for you and for every child who deserves a chance to live, laugh and heal.
My Story
Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.Kids should be living life — not fighting for it.I lost my beloved Sister Alice to cancer, and her memory drives me to make a difference. I’m riding 333 miles in the Great Cycle Challenge to help kids get what they need to stay alive — lifesaving treatments, hope, and a chance to grow up.I ride with the blessings of Su Ong, Cô Helene, and her orphans, carrying their compassion and strength with every mile. Together, we can help the Children’s Cancer Research Fund continue their vital work to find a cure for childhood cancer. Please support me by making a donation — every mile, every dollar, every prayer helps give these kids the life they deserve. Sincerely,
Shay Marcus Smith
