This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer. This is my third year and I am riding in honor of my Granddaughter Brooke once again. I will also be riding in honor of two colleague’s family members. A granddaughter of a long time friend and nursing colleague, and the son of one of my current colleagues at Mayo. These two young teens have bravely fought this past year. Our family feels so blessed for the care Brooke has and continues to receive at Mayo Clinic. I want to honor these kids and all other kiddos in their fight. We need to work towards a cure , so no other child or family has to endure the unimaginable

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
