I'm riding as a person who lost their Dad as a child. I was 6 when my father, Mitch Vanya, passed away from prostrate cancer. In the picture he is holding me, I'm 3 at the time. I don't know which is worse, losing a parent or losing a child...actually they are about the same, both horrible. I have been blessed in so many ways in having lived longer than my Dad, having had the chance to be with my sweet Kathy for 52 years, having seen my children grow into adulthood, having experienced the joy of three of the most precious and healthy grand children! We are riding for a cure so that others will not have to experience this horrific loss. Keep pedaling folks!
