Joe Dewaele is the kid who inspired team "Joestrong" to be created and we ride in his honor. Joe was the most generous soul you ever met, and in his memory we ride in honor of all children who are fighting or who have fought cancer. Don't let our name dissuade you. Our team is inclusive of anybody who through the Great Cycle Challenge fights for all children, and among our ranks we have cancer survivors, cancer fighters, as well as, people who ride in memory of family members and/ or friends and people who didn't have a connection to pediatric cancer before.
