EVERY AMOUNT GIVES HOPE FOR A FUTUR

LIONSROAR TEAM MEMBERS have a few days left to finish their pedaling ride goals and gather sponsors in the GREAT CYCLE CHALLENGE face off against childhood cancer. LOOK at these six team members and marvel at the breakdown of smaller sponsorships that help in the HOPE FOR THE FUTURE:

BRIAN JOHNSON is husband to Mindy and has 4 daughters and at least one of them has sparkling blue eyes. They live in Woodbury and know the ride is for fighting childhood cancer, but both Mindy and Brian have family members who have gone through treatment for breast cancer. $181 would be so encouraging to this new rider and give HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.

MARK DVORAK is a busy professional in the Woodbury community with a growing family. As a continuing rider, a new donation of $47 might just round out a day for him and give HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.

SANDRA BRESSLER is in her sixth year riding with LionsRoar while also continuing as caregiver to a loved one. She only needs $1 to show a round number and HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.

MIKE MENSING is another awesome person whose planning, acumen, and leadership persevere even while juggling life and volunteer activities. A tidy $88 would get him to goal and give HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.

JOHN ANDERSON is a social media specialist and continuing rider for LionsRoar. Imagine making his day with $23 which can round out his sponsorship and give HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.

TY ANDERSON is a Woodbury business owner with a 6 month old bouncing baby boy and cutest little toddler girl. This is Ty's first year riding with LionsRoar, and research into cures for childhood cancer is close to the heart of his family. Make his day with $73 and HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.

Amazing Job Last Week!

Look what LIONSROAR did last week:

*We added a team member: 14 year old Baker Johnson!

*Our awesome riders added $5831.03 in matched donations to the sponsorships already raised!

*We began the momentum to keep going...until the end of the month!

*We nudged the goalpost!

*But this is what we really did: We all started becoming HEROES!

Wow! Did you see that video? It looks like every day in September is a good day to fight children’s cancer and have fun with your friends while you’re doing it. Just so you know, there are 10 LIONSROAR riders all having fun riding their miles to gather support for research. (well, maybe at this point some of them are achy) But look! There may be a special day to make them feel better about helping kids:

Our LionsRoar team of 10 (so far) Lions and friends will be ROARing loud and long throughout September’s Great Cycle Challenge along with more than 16,478 other riders across the country during this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  Please give your support to the team and riders who want the kids to have the brighter future they deserve!  Lion Matt

This September, Lions Roar is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
