I'm Riding For
Connie Kuttner
One of my rides I will pedal 300 miles solo in honor of my mother who is truly loved and greatly missed. There may be changes to the plan depending the outcome of heart surgery. I love you mom. This ride is for you.
My Story
TO MY COMPASSIONATE SUPPORTERS :
This is my fourth year supporting children's cancer research and I'm very happy that you my great caring supporters raised $5,082 last September for such a worthy cause. There are a lot of good people in this world and the amount of support for these children is testament to that. I could not do it without your generosity and support.
Your help is very much needed and appreciated to help families living with cancer.
On a different note over the winter I was informed I'm cleared of Melanoma which I've had since 2022. I'm now facing a new obstacle having been diagnosed needing double bi pass surgery. I will still participate regardless.
I have not quit training and I will be ready. Surgery is planned for April 3rd. Surgeon said 8-12 weeks recovery. I will likely have only 1 month to train which can hinder long rides. At best I may train through September saving the longest for late September. It all depends on the surgery.
As part of 300 miles I pledged I may pedal 300 miles solo in a day in memory of my mother Connie Kuttner which is by far the longest ride of my life and should take 28-30 hours if all goes as planned. I am nearing heart surgery soon and this ride is quite a challenge so there may be changes depending how I feel....Anyway that is my goal.
FOR EVERY DAY YOU RIDE...
YOU LIVE TO RIDE ANOTHER
