This year in my 6th year of riding for kids cancer i am riding in honor and in memory of my aunt Eileen she battled breast cancer for 9 years and 2 remissions before the good lord called her home i always remember how sweet she was how kind and loving she was towards everyone this is a picture of me and my sister being held by her she was like a second mom to all of us kids growing up this year makes 23 years she's been gone and there is not a day that doesn't go by that i don't miss her!!!! one thing is certain i cant wait to get to heaven where we will be re united once again!!! love and miss you!!! aunt Eileen this rides for you!!!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Short ride

Good evening folks we got in a few short rides today

To total 8.2 miles on the first day hopefully over the next few days will start to feel better with this upper respiratory infection as we now have meds to treat it

An with that hopefully will be able to get in some decent miles this weekend

As you can see with the sickness we did adjust our mileage goal a bit

On the page we have our goal as 250 miles

With a personal goal for ourselves as 300 miles
